I used the Fujifilm X-Pro 3 camera paired with the XF33mm F1.4 lens for this shoot. In this video, I get to experience the new XF33mm F1.4 lens firsthand while exploring several random locations around the city. I chose spots that I felt would provide a visually appealing and suitable background for Megan’s portraits, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the images.

Often I get these creative ideas and don’t act on them like I did when I was younger.
This idea came to mind and for the first time in years I acted on it.
I saw it in my mind, drew it up, got everything I needed to get to work.
This is the end result. It was weird not having to book a model, stylist, MUA and location. Usually it takes weeks to set up a shoot like this. It felt good creating a visual idea right off the back.
If I was able to do this all the time god only knows at what level I would be. This is definitely worth doing. To all my creative friends create what comes to mind today

Thank you so much for the love and support .
The Fujifilm X100V is truly incredible, delivering outstanding image quality paired with the exceptional sharpness of the new XF23mm F2 lens that is built right into the camera. Honestly, I find myself using it even more than my X-Pro 3, which says a lot about how impressive this camera really is. Its performance and versatility make it an absolute game-changer in my photography work.
I really love the new added touch screen feature; I find myself using it constantly for selecting my focus quickly and easily while on the move. I was previously obsessed with the X100F model, but this V version definitely takes the cake with its improved functionality and design. In fact, I’ve included some images in the video that I shot using the X100V over the past few months to showcase its capabilities. The Viltrox 56mm F1.4 is priced similarly to the Fujifilm 50mm F2, but in my opinion, it easily outperforms it in several key aspects. This lens is impressively sharp even when shot wide open at f1.4, delivering exceptional clarity and detail. Its overall build and optical quality make it a standout choice for portrait photography, especially for those looking to get the most value without compromising on performance.
The Viltrox 56mm F1.4 is priced similarly to the Fujifilm 50mm F2, but in my opinion, it easily outperforms it by a significant margin. This lens delivers incredible sharpness even when used wide open at f1.4, making it a fantastic choice for those who want excellent image quality without breaking the bank.
I’ve tried the Fujifilm 56mm F1.2, and the focus was all over the place during my experience. I’m not sure if it was just the specific copy I tested, but it definitely didn’t perform as reliably as I expected. Overall, I find myself preferring the Viltrox focusing system over the 56mm F1.2 for its consistency and accuracy.
The bokeh produced by this lens is beautifully creamy and smooth, creating pleasing background blur. Its size falls comfortably between the Fujifilm 56mm and the 50mm F2, making it neither too bulky nor too compact. I also really appreciate the lens hood, which is made of metal—something I prefer much more compared to the typical plastic ones found on Fujifilm lenses. Overall, it feels incredibly solid and balanced on my X-Pro 3, enhancing the shooting experience.
Viltrox definitely changed my mind because I usually only use native lenses specific to whatever system or brand I’m working with. I’ve always been cautious about sticking to original equipment to avoid any risks, such as potential equipment malfunctioning during important jobs or projects. However, after trying Viltrox, I realized their quality and reliability can truly stand up to native options, which has made me more open to exploring alternative lenses in the future.
After testing this lens extensively over the past couple of days, I can honestly say it truly did not disappoint in any way. It performs at a level that is undoubtedly Prograde quality, meeting the high standards expected by professionals. 💪🏽 If you’re interested in purchasing this excellent piece of equipment, here’s the link below:
My very first photo book EVER! I’m beyond excited to share this with you all. A huge thank you 🙏🏾 to @saaldigital_corp for creating such an incredible leather hard cover photo book—it’s absolutely 🔥. I posted about it the other day, and I was overwhelmed by how many of you reached out to inquire about purchasing a copy. Your support means the world!
I’m truly thankful and deeply grateful for all of the incredible support you guys have shown me throughout this journey.
I’ll be creating more work soon, and I’ll be sure to let you all know as soon as my photo book, “The Bronx Boy who Can’t Dance,” becomes available for purchase. Stay tuned and thank you for your support! 🙏🏾
The 35mm F1.4 is by far my all-time favorite Fujifilm lens. Over the years, I’ve created some of my most memorable and cherished shots using this exceptional piece of glass. I’ll be sharing a few of those standout images in this post. Every time I pick up this lens, I feel like I’m able to create a little bit of magic through my photography.
I know that many people tend to complain about the lens being loud and the autofocus being somewhat slow, but honestly, I have never encountered these issues myself. This is actually my third copy of the same lens, and each time I’ve found it to perform reliably without any problems.
I really love using the 50mm focal length because it perfectly balances versatility and image quality. Since I shoot tons of portraits, having the f1.4 aperture with its shallow depth of field is a beautiful addition that helps create stunningly sharp subjects with wonderfully blurred backgrounds. This combination allows me to capture intimate and compelling portraits every time.
I’ve shot everything from editorials to dynamic dance shoots. There’s something about the bokeh that truly speaks poetry to my eyes, creating a beautiful, almost magical atmosphere in every frame.
Funny story—this was actually the very first lens I bought when I started shooting with Fujifilm, but to be honest, I ended up selling it almost immediately afterward because it just didn’t quite meet my needs at the time 😂.
Trust that I’ll never make that mistake again. If you’re interested in purchasing this item, please find the link provided below for your convenience:
It’s truly incredible, from the outstanding image quality to the remarkable sharpness of the new XF23mm F2 lens built into it. I find myself using it more often than my X-Pro 3, which is saying a lot. The performance of this lens is absolutely insane.
I really love the new added touch screen feature; I use it all the time for quickly selecting my focus while on the move. I was truly obsessed with the X100F, but this V model definitely takes the cake with its improved functionality and design. Below are some of the images I have taken over the past month using this incredible camera.
I recently bought this black camo decal body guard for my Fujifilm X100V and X-Pro 3 cameras. I found it on Amazon for around $14 to $16, which is a great price. So far, it’s been my best purchase because now I don’t have to worry about my camera bodies getting scratched or damaged. I’m pretty particular when it comes to keeping my gear clean and free of dust, dents, and scratches, so this really gives me peace of mind. If you’re interested, I can share more details about the black camouflage decal.
